4 Basic Function of Computer | Four Elements of Computer

The computer performs four basic operating, irrespective of the program, which is running on it. These operating are given as follow: -

1.     INPUT: - it is used for the purpose of inserting or feeding data into the computer with the help of an input device.

1. Processing: - it refers to the task of handling and controlling data in the computer for transforming data into the form of information.

1. OUTPUT: - it is the final result produced after input is fed and processing is done by the computer.

1. STORAGE: - the output of the processing operations is started in a storage device, such as hard disk or a floppy disk.
